Closing the Deal: Sign Here and Here and

Hurrah! You've made it through the offer and negotiation process, inspection and appraisal – now it's time to close the deal and then you'll be a HOMEOWNER! This is the part of the homebuying process you hear about when people say, "You have to sign a lot of paperwork." Closing typically takes a few hours, however, my closing took a bit longer because I asked a lot of questions. While it felt like a grueling process to sign my name on what seemed like an endless stack of papers, it was really important for me to understand what each document meant and what I was agreeing to.
